Barb and askye, my dad tells me that the Wisconsin game was oddly subdued because the entire band has been suspended.
I was watching part of that game and wondered why it seemed so quiet.

Oh, and Cash, did you know that the genesis of the Marching Chiefs is all in OSU band traditions? All of our original band directors came from OSU.

I kindda envy you all right now, with the cheap glasses thing.
My prescription costs about 565$, after discount, according to today's rate. Then again, I have 6 different things that are wrong with my eyesight, and mending them all together is some kind of miracle to me.
So, everytime I think I have to change me prescription? Horrors. To my bank account.

Huh. I had just gone ahead and made sure the battery was definitely locked into place. Maybe I should remove it and install it again, this time with my eyes closed?

Well, here I am at the law firm. Our 11:00 client still hasn't shown up, and I've got all my voice mail messages picked up and delivered to the lawyer, all my forms copied and ready to hand out to the clients, and my own e-mail sorted through and deleted (mostly spam). Now I get to play on the internets and read my book until we start getting people to show up for their appointments!
I was watching my Spaced dvds again last night. Now I want to greet clients with "Oi, oi!" and "You lucky people...", ala Tyres.
