Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Well, she did see how effective it was at the Olympics!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Biden appears to be sighing heavily into his mic. He should watch that.

I was listening on the radio (while driving!) and at one point I thought dude, did he just snort?

wait...How does McCain know how to win a war?

He's got a secret plan to be captured by Osama bin Laden.

Did anyone count the mavericks? I don't even know what do with her entire closing statement consisting of a Reagan quote.

I yelled at my TV, why is the INFANT being carried out at 10:30 PM!?!?

They're in St. Louis, right? 9:30. Kinda late still, but not 10:30.

And, 9:30 would be late for my kid, but who knows what schedule the baby is on. And while I'd love to find yet another thing to hate about her, I am working not to be judgy mcjudgerson on that one.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

At six months, they're still pretty portable and late nights are easy. They'll sleep in your arms, the car...

Man, I miss that.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I thought she was really nervous at first and improved, but think that overall he was stronger. The folksy stuff irritated me and I do have family that talks like that. But they do it differently. She does it like a script.

Was there criticism upthread of Biden not talking to the camera? Because I didn't like how Palin did talk to the camera all the time, especially when she was verbally addressing Biden. She was all accusatory, "you did this, you said that" and I was all, hey, man, no I didn't. You gotta talk to the guy on your right about that. When Biden did talk to the camera was when he was talking to me. Now should he have talked to me more? Probably. But I think Palin's broadcast background served her poorly in that area, where there is typically only one camera that matters and only one audience, which is seen through that lens. In debate, there is the moderator and the local audience and your opponent and the camera audience. But Palin only spoke to one, which gave her a weird teleprompter appearance even though it was presumably a live event.

He may be a rotten pilot, but he did not cause the fire on the Forrestal.

My reading skill was probably affected by my nausea and rage.

Yeah, I'm not done reading it yet and I'm pretty sick to my stomach.
