lisah, Rockford Park isn't in Rockford, Ill, is it? Because if it is.. that's my father's hometown! (add to the freaky odds.)

Aww, no, this is one place where we part ways. It's in Wilmington, DE.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, how old were your parents when they got married? They look like babies in that picture! Especially your dad.

21 or so.

With that said, this is a really good photo of what my parents are like

Only with extra zany!

Toddler Scola so cute.

I gotta say, the "Dana moved to the Pacific Northwest, buys hiking boots" show is cracking me up. Next week: a gore-tex parka! Week after that: plaid flannel!

She's not in THAT side of the PNW! I mean, I guess Eastern Washington can wear Gore-Tex, too, but the stereotype is for west of the Cascades. Plaid flannel, OTOH, I believe to be universal.

Okay, they rated Brad Pitt over them, which is an understandable mistake, but Mark Wahlberg at #1? Mmm, no.

Seriously??? Umm. No.

msbelle, Brenda, and Kat, ugh.

Thus concludes my "hey! I saw my office for half an hour in between meetings today!" meara.

Well, we'll always have G'boro and B'more...

Seriously, the odds are still freaky. Especially if you add msbelle. But then, my first college roommate grew up on a commune that the mother of my first serious babysitting charge grew up on as well. Crazy. Said charge is in her twenties now. Feel old.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

msbelle, sorry to hear about the gas bill nightmare. Garrr! I'm with ita, try for the "um, can you turn on my gas please?" angle.

Kat, you're adorable! And that cake RAWKS! I fear I'll need to figure out how to make one for my girl one day just so I can see that smile for myself.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm watching Pushing Daisies (I don't have DirectTV, so no FNL for me). How much do I adore Chuck's wardrobe?

Sorry about the gas msbelle.

So much cute in all the old photos.

I remember AP English, James Joyce, some French poet I had to write a paper on and all of the sources were in freaking French, lots of Scandinavian plays, D.H Lawrence, some Sheakespeare, and a paper that I did really well on that many years later I read and realized was complete crap.

Seems to be my "pick Buffista brains" day. A friend gave me some VERY sour tomatoes. I'll bet that is an advantage in the right recipe. Anybody care to share one?
