Ayup. Football. Which was only 8 games (unless we went to the postseason) - and at least one of the later games involved snow.

I scanned a bunch of old pictures from my grandmother's house last December when I was in Cincinnati for my grandfather's funeral.
I love this one of my parents, mostly for the fact that my mom looks so much like my sister in this one that my dad didn't believe it was her. For reference, in 1989, my sister looked like this.
And here I am age 6 months and probably age 6-ish (there was no date on the back).

I only have one or two here and no scanner. All that stuff is at my parents'. Which reminds me I promised I'd take them into work. I'd love to share one of my mom camping, either early in the marriage or courtship. She's sitting on a boulder and has got cute bedhead and rumples and you REALLY wonder what they'd been up to just prior. And she looks 12. OK, maybe just to me, but...no. She looks 12. She had to have been at least 20.
