Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today is not moving fast enough.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Today is not moving fast enough.

Nope. It's like a coelacanth that slows down its metabolism to survive in cold water.

Or the thing that thinks "Hey slow down there, Buddy, where's the fire?" when the coelacanth passes it by.

I'm spending my time finally getting caught up over at WX, which I had no idea was up-and-running again. It's interesting reading the 2008 Campaign thread going back to the middle of the Dem convention. I'm just up to the announcement that Palin's daughter is pregnant--hard to believe that was less than a month ago!

Question for Tech Writers--I'm applying for a tech writer position in my company, and they're asking my salary expectations. I have no idea what the range would be for a tech writer. I don't have experience as a tech writer per se, but I've written a lot and I know the tech, especially of this ocmpany. Could you give me a range of numbers?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Connie, here's a tech writers salary survey that includes incomes in Utah.

It's from 2006. Looks like Utah is between $44-47K.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Soothing thoughts your way, belle.

My day went way too fast! I had a bunch of meetings, and I don't know where the hell the rest of the time went.

Even if I cut off a couple of K for lack of specific experience, that's nearly double what I'm making now. Excuse me while I hyperventilate. I wish I knew why success terrified me so.
