Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Soothing thoughts your way, belle.

My day went way too fast! I had a bunch of meetings, and I don't know where the hell the rest of the time went.

Looks like Utah is between $44-47K.

Even if I cut off a couple of K for lack of specific experience, that's nearly double what I'm making now. Excuse me while I hyperventilate. I wish I knew why success terrified me so.

Punishingly Intricate

Connie, My yearly salary jumped by quite a bit when I started as a tech writer with no tech writing but lots of writing experience back in 1999. The field needs good writers! Having actual technical skills won't hurt your prospects either.

I've never really known how to get a start in the field, so I'm proud of myself for jumping on this when it came available. It's certainly got a better future than tech support.

OK, I'm actually surprised by this: Clay Aiken comes out.

hip deep in pie

Surprised that he actually did it, I assume.

“Not dead yet!”

And you know, maybe it doesn't have a damned thing to do with anything, but that's easily one of the best, most relaxed pictures I've seen of him.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Timelies!

Happy birthday, Nilly! May the coming year bring you all of the best. {{{{{HUG}}}}}

Happy birthday. Emmett!

That is a very cute bat cake, and YES, I want something similar for my 40th birthday.

Me too, please!

one of the best, most relaxed pictures

So that is Clay Aiken and not k.d. lang, as I first assumed and thought, "Why is k.d. lang on the cover of a Clay Aiken piece? Or is that Clay Aiken?"
