Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My only symptom is fever. So, not really.

Ugh. It's just so exhausting, IME.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I think that once a fever lingers for more than a couple of days, that *can* (but isn't always) a sign of a bacterial infection.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

We're on day 3 of fever. Time to call the doctor?

Yes.

Found another bunch of photos, including the 1939 one. Gonna scan and upload them now.

Shir, those pictures are fascinating. You have an extremely photogenic family. Your grandmother looks like a daughter of Ingrid Bergman.

Alas, some things didn't pass on to the rest of us...

I just sent this e-card to half my family: [link]

Seriously, I'm almost ashamed at how much I'm looking forward to watching the debate tomorrow night. Call it anticipatory schadenfreude. I'm going to make popcorn.

Coding and Sleeping

She may do pretty well in the debate. If she just has answers that are coherent, she'll be exceeding expectations. Has the expectation bar ever been set this low?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Has she given a coherent answer to anything yet?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Call it anticipatory schadenfreude. I'm going to make popcorn.

I think I'm going to make schadenfreude pie.
