Wesley: We were fighting on opposite sides, but it was the same war. Fred: but you hated her…didn't you? Wesley: It's not always about holding hands.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I SO want to watch that sign now. And name rocks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like they are like us, but you know, crazy and with too much time on their hands.

But kind of adorkable at the same time!

Because you're a maverick.

True, true.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Have people seen this:

I have now. That's pretty wonderful.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Holy shit. The stock market opened down 200 points this morning, and then it held steady. It just dropped another 300 points in the past ten minutes.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I feel like they are like us, but you know, crazy and with too much time on their hands.

That's a thing of beauty.

I saw in COMM speculation about a Jesse presidential run. She'd have even more foreign policy experience than Palin. Not only does New York border Canada, but the U.N. is right there in New York City!

Reminds me: My dad had put an Obama sign up in the yard. Later that day, mom goes out and sees it in the road, slightly mangled. She's sort of aghast because it's not the sort of neighborhood that leans towards political vandalism, and due to some local issues they've banded together on, everyone pretty much knows everyone else's views.

So she's feeling all offended and then she remembers telling him to not put it so close to the driveway because he takes that corner really close.

Yup, my dad ran over his own sign.

What happened? Did Henry Paulson sneeze?
