I feel like they are like us, but you know, crazy and with too much time on their hands.

Reminds me: My dad had put an Obama sign up in the yard. Later that day, mom goes out and sees it in the road, slightly mangled. She's sort of aghast because it's not the sort of neighborhood that leans towards political vandalism, and due to some local issues they've banded together on, everyone pretty much knows everyone else's views.

So she's feeling all offended and then she remembers telling him to not put it so close to the driveway because he takes that corner really close.

Yup, my dad ran over his own sign.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It just dropped another 300 points in the past ten minutes.

What happened? Did Henry Paulson sneeze?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She'd have even more foreign policy experience than Palin.

I've been to Mexico AND Canada! And my super is from Ecuador.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What version are you on?

I'm not on it anymore. All the lawfirms eventually succumed to the Word juggernaut.

It looks like the bailout didn't pass in the House.

Wow, that was WordPerfect's life line.

I've pretty much moved to .txt, but it's not like I'm worried about intricate formatting these days.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The House Republicans would rather be 'right' than actually, you know, do something to help America.
