ETA: ooh, where is the best sushi?
Okay, I'm sure it's not the best, but I have a special fondness for the place at the corner of 16th and Valencia, where I used to go and lesson plan over California rolls and chardonnay. Ummm... Sushi Yamamoto, maybe? I think it started with a Y, anyway.
Oh! And make sure you go to the Indian ice cream place on Valencia for rosewater or cardamom ice cream. Which reminds me, I need to go home and eat my ginger ice cream. Off I go!
One of the best meals I've ever had, granted it was probably twelve or thirteen years ago, was at One Market.
NOM.
I want Pacific salmon.
Now.
I have a load of Mg every day for the migraines. It's one of the few things I take with which I can really feel the difference. When I was off it the headaches were quite different, and worse.
Where IS the best burrito???

I just want to mention to all Bitches that I am wearing these jeans [link] today and they are THE BOMB. I highly recommend them to all and sundry. Really comfy and flattering and the wide legs are way cool. I got a pair in blue and one in black and they are going to be my winter office pants fo sho.

BEST WIENER SCHNITZEL BRUNCH
Since 1993, Suppenküche has been serving up traditional German comfort food. And if there was ever a place you'd feel comfortable gulping down a two-liter glass boot full of Spaten with your eggs, it would be here. With rows of communal tables and fast-paced yet warm service, Suppenküche was created with a German Wirsthaus aesthetic in mind. Staples like sautéed pork loin with spaetzle and a grilled cured pork chop with sauerkraut are offered throughout the day. But on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for those looking for a brunch alternative to greasy spoons brimming with throngs of even greasier hipsters, Suppenküche really delivers. The Bauernfrühstück mit Gewürzgurken (farmer's omelet with pickles and pork sausage) and the Geröstete Maultaschen mit Zwiebeln, Ei und Gurkensalat (sautéed German ravioli scrambled with eggs and onions, served with cucumber salad) are exceptional. Our recommendation, though: the Wiener Schnitzel with a pint of Schneider Weisse. Best hangover cure ever.
