You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

yeah, I think it would work better with the ballon above or to the left of the bunny.

Always Anti-fascist!

Since I know people who type using pointer-headset things, yeah, I've always found McCain's gimp-when-it's-convenient to be specious. And he's always done it, too. I seem to remember early election cycles where I, precocious little squirt, would be like "Mom! Doesn't it seem like that guy is having more trouble walking than last month." (I still say he limped more at election time. Of course now he's older and created this whole make-that-face-long-enough-and-it'll stay that way deal.) My impairment makes me a less-than-fluent typist, to be sure, not like KO with his one-fingered 90wpm(You know you're in the tank for somebody when even that is sexy to you!) But it's entirely *possible* Or the Senator could get a voice-activated thing. Or a keyboard that's a different shape. At a certain point, especially with his bank, you don't do things because you don't care about them.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

jeebus, I started my period today too. 9 days late. I swear, and I'm actually not joking, that I am thisclose to calling my gyn and saying "Fuck it, take out the whole shooting match, it's only 15 years until I need estrogen anyway and I'm not having kids and I have 1 ovary and the whole mess is craxier than evah."

She cut my rx for pain pills, too. 10 Tylenol-3's. I'm all like "Dude. My periods last 7 to 9 DAYS. I am chubby. I have to take two to even FEEL any relief. 10 wee Tylenol-3 WILL.NOT.DO."

I'm thinking about asking her to re-up the Vic. Sure, it made me itch, but that shit made me pain-free. And I don't need brains anyway; I'm all feckless and unemployed right now.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Flexoril saves my life the first two nights of my period, Erin. (I can only take it at night, makes me too stoopid and loopy during the day)

Muscle relaxers, man. Love 'em.

Hmm. I will ask my gyno about it. I don't think I've ever tried muscle relaxers that much. I don't mind loopy at night -- actually a combo of Ty-3 in the day so I can function and utter pain-free stupidity at night is a good deal.

I have to call her anyway to get poked and scanned and...jesus mary, I've had more things up my cooch in the last 6 months than a Thai hooker. I'm really kinda sick of it.

“Not dead yet!”

::envies those who can take pain pills::

I mean, I can take them, but only at night because they make me completely stupid. Actually, one Tylenol PM makes me completely stupid. It's a running joke. Flexoril is wonderful as a muscle relaxer, but I only take it very, very rarely since it has the disconcerting habit of making me very weepy and emotional for two days after.

One flexoril. It's pathetic.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

How do you react to Perc? I get spinny and itchy on the Vic, but Perc just makes me stoned as fuck. As Tep once said, "Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude."

I'll trade you, Barb. I've got a ginormous drug tolerance. (Thanks, college!)

I have to take 2 Ambien anymore for them to work, 5 tylenol for a regular headache...but those are all medications I've been taking for years.

My morphine pump after surgery looped me the hell out, which was great since I had a 7 inch gash stapled from hip to hip.

OTOH, if my delicate baby system has caffiene after 1 p.m., she can't sleep without a pill. Stupid legal drug sensitivty.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'll trade you, Barb. I've got a ginormous drug tolerance.

I am Erin, though it varies by drug. Ambien knocks me out, but nothing else does. Most pain meds don't help me much. Morphine did very little for me during the ruptured cyst ER incident, and Vicoden barely touched the recovery pain.

I'm told there are other classes of pain meds that would probably work better, and I hope that's true if I ever need them again.

I've never taken Percocet. Does it just make you stoned, or does it affect pain? Vic has only made me itch a couple of times, but it makes me stoned AND is great with pain.

Ty-3...well, like I said...I've taken 4 within a 3 hour period (NPI) and still had back and cramping pain. And I feel like I could be sensible and drive and talk to people.

If it doesn't make me droolingly stupid, the painkiller isn't effective.
