Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm watching the debates and drinking copious amounts of wine.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am NOT watching the debates. Because, OMG, I don't care.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am Nora. "We're very pretty!"

Yes, we also like our TV and don't want to get so upset that we throw things at it.

“Not dead yet!”

Is there room on the pretty bench? As I said in Natter, I just couldn't cope with the debate. Watched pretty, surreal movies instead with pretty, pretty boys and girls.

Art Crawl!!!

I watched it and knitted. And it just made me nervous for Obama.

I think that this really means that they were pretty much neck and neck which means more grist for the spinners on either side.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think those who skipped the debate were wise.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So here I am, watching Channel V, and Marilyn Manson just turned up to a frat party in a car with vanity plates saying "Goth Thug". Which still doesn't disguise the fact that he's singing Tainted Love.

Always Anti-fascist!

I enjoyed it. But I'm a geek who wants to be Keith's love slave. And I am not a sports fan. That pretty much means I've got to get stoked about anything with bunting, don't you think?

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Scrappy, that is just heartbreaking. Peace to the family.

sj, I'm so thrilled to hear that J is doing so well. I actually drove by the hospital after the game the other night and threw him a goodnight kiss. CBD thought I was weird :).

So, after all my struggles with Spanish, the honors department is considering waiving the intermediate language requirement for me and letting me graduate with honors with having just fulfilled the university's elementary language requirement fulfilled. I should know on Monday. I am hopeful, though I'm not putting all of my eggs in one basket. I am actually just so grateful that they are even considering this. The coordinator told me yesterday that I have pushed through so many of the honors requirements (including my thesis, etc.) that she hates to see me struggling so much with one of the "lesser" requirements. And after reading the letter from my psychopharmacologist, she really feels that my struggles with language learning are related to my disability, and they need to make accommodations...just like any other professor/department would have to. I love them for even considering this.
