Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Green beans lightly steamed, then tossed with olive oil and a dollop of really good mustard, finish with a sprinkling of sea salt.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I love that we x-post everything here, even green beans.

Art Crawl!!!

Or something tomatoey since they are also in season.

Is this another piece on Goth fashion - or the one that's been on the NYT website for a while?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Green beans are an excellent idea! Thanks Barb and Lisa!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was also going to say green beans!

Parents, I need toddler food ideas. D's doctor is concerned about his weight gain and a possible milk allergy/sensitivity. What are good high-calorie-non-dairy foods? (Other than french fries, which I've already thought of.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What are good high-calorie-non-dairy foods?

Lard!

HAR.

Oh, and he loves eggs but won't eat yolks. (He won't touch scrambled eggs and if you give him a hard-boiled one he'll eat very carefully around the yolk.)

[eta: And because my family has a history of food allergies, no nuts either. Which I realize rules out most of my favorite high-calorie foods right off the bat.]

Avocado's a good one.
