Continued job-ma and x-ed fingers for Tom.
So, we have an ISD company divisional thing today at Fenway Park (yeah, that one) which is all the way accross town from our offices. They are providing buses to bring us over (I was going to laugh if they went with Duck Boats, but they are going with actual Peter Pan buses), but we have to get back (home for most, since it ends at 4) by ourselves. They also gave us all shirts to memorlize the event that they want us to wear.
The shirts are red.
I wonder if I should worry...
Happy birthday, erika!!!
All kinds of job~ma to Tom.
Bleargh. It's a morning. I am tired. Overslept but at work well before my first class, just well after my official report time. Can I just say that I hate having to get here over an hour before my first class? I stay late after school getting stuff done because I don't function well in the morning. So, if I get here "on time," I have an hour of piddling around.
TCG's dad, step-mom, and step-brother, are coming over tonight for dinner and to install the AC that his step-mom and dad got us for the shower. So far I am making cheese tortellini with bolognese, chicken rolled with spinach and proscuitto, some sort of salad, and brownies for dessert. I'd like to add some sort of veggie side dish, but I'm brain dead. So, I can't think of anything. Any ideas?

Easy and theme appropriate and seasonal -- zucchini and summer squash sauteed w/ some sweet onion. salt & pepper. But really it sounds like you have plenty of food!

TCG's dad doesn't eat onions, and I made roasted summer squash and zucchini when they were here a couple of weeks ago. If I don't make way too much food, I will ruin my reputation.

WEIRDO!!!!

Did they like it? if so, repeat!
um...okay greenbeans, very lightly boiled (like 5 minutes so they are still crisp), tossed with a little olive oil, lemon, toasted pine nuts and salt and pepper.
Green beans lightly steamed, then tossed with olive oil and a dollop of really good mustard, finish with a sprinkling of sea salt.
BWAH!!! Lisa and I are sharing a brain.
I love that we x-post everything here, even green beans.
Or something tomatoey since they are also in season.
Is this another piece on Goth fashion - or the one that's been on the NYT website for a while?
