You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I'll do it for you. Not that I particularly want to, but there's one on my way to the H&M. And I could use some basic tees.

Thank you! But it looks like I won't need you to go for me. I checked out the ON site, and they're orange with black bats. If they had been black & white, that would have been perfect, but I don't need orange.

So, I had this thought. Later in the year we'll end up offering "enrichment" programs -- last year this was everything from Lego tractor pulls to guitar lessons to crochet lessons to actual school stuff. I'm wondering if there's something I could do this year that might appeal specifically to the, er, "alternative" kids. That is, both the goth kids and the not-quite-goth-but-similarly-disengaged (from mainstream high school culture, anyway). Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe Jilli would grant me a franchise, but my etiquette sense, while certainly better than my fashion sense, is still lacking.

Okay! Enough! I'm going home now. God, I'm chatty this afternoon.

Basic clothing modification? Like customizing a jacket or a skirt? (And yes, I could probably write some instructions for you after September.)

Vidding for fun and profit!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

OTW and New Media Literacies have put together a vidding documentary specifically for use in classrooms. I don't know if it's been released yet, but it should be close.

Dressing up...like Sarah Palin?

come on - there are some things too twisted even for Bitches!

Er... I'm afraid I never really learned how. Too lazy. Sorry!

Always Anti-fascist!

God, I hope so. But That didn't stop me picturing KO and Katy doing a Spike and Harmony where she puts on his specs and won't answer his questions. Some days I hate my brain.

brillig

You know, I often wonder if we who post here are another form of TV for those who don't post. It's just a thought that wandered through my mind. Something like a medical drama/school drama/Oprah combined.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I could probably turn them into arm warmers.

Why didn't I think of that?

I agree, though, that orange isn't exactly a color I would want. Black and white would have been perfect. If they had been in black and white I probably would have thought of arm warmers. I'm still going to order a pair of each for Amelia, though. I was thinking of getting a "Baby Bat" bib from GCS.

Jilli, 3 days old is a perfect age to start nurturing her spooky side, isn't it?
