I'm wondering if there's something I could do this year that might appeal specifically to the, er, "alternative" kids. That is, both the goth kids and the not-quite-goth-but-similarly-disengaged (from mainstream high school culture, anyway).

Basic clothing modification? Like customizing a jacket or a skirt? (And yes, I could probably write some instructions for you after September.)

I agree, though, that orange isn't exactly a color I would want. Black and white would have been perfect. If they had been in black and white I probably would have thought of arm warmers. I'm still going to order a pair of each for Amelia, though. I was thinking of getting a "Baby Bat" bib from GCS.
