I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Dressing up...like Sarah Palin?

And suddenly I'm flashing on the scene where Lila dressed up like Fred.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Best of luck to him, and so glad he got a little bit extra time to job hunt--tell him not to kill himself during those last 30 days!!!

I've done it before , for the same co ( different management) . I've warned him that he might find himself really angry at times.I believe there is a little extra severance, so it should be worth it.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

That is some seriously powerful ~ma. I posted from the coffee shop, backed into another car leaving (a tiny scuff on their car, nothing on mine, the lady told me not to worry about it, but took my number in case her husband disagreed with her), got home and had power. It took a couple more hours to get the Internet access back, but all seems to be well, knock wood.

The kids missed Monday. Their schools were open, but we were completely unprepared for finding school clothes in the dark or figuring out what they could eat that wouldn't give them salmonella for lunch.

Tonight's dinner is still chili dogs. I'm so not up to cooking something real, and not entirely sure I trust the meat in the freezer.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Deena! I'm sorry about the fender bender. I hope you don't hear anything about it again. Now all the power~ma can go to Teppy's place.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Yay power! I'm sorry you had to have that "adventure."

How long was the power out? The USDA says the food in a full freezer is safe for 48 hours, and it tends to err on the cautious side.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Major job~ma to Tom!

Power~ma for all in need!

Thank you, all, for the well wishes. I just got pictures this morning. I'll post them when I get home. Of course I'm biased; but, she is beautiful!

Looking at the stripy tights from Old Navy, also discovered they have some with a bat pattern! After a moment of pouting because they have neither the stripy tights nor bat tights in adult sizes the knowledge that Old Navy has them in baby Amelia's size brings me joy. Must find cute black dress for her to wear with them.

Say what? Even if they aren't in adult sizes, I could probably turn them into arm warmers. Crap, this means I have to set foot in an Old Navy, doesn't it?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

No, I'll do it for you. Not that I particularly want to, but there's one on my way to the H&M. And I could use some basic tees.

It'll be good for them. Take the parasol with the pointy end, though.
