Happy birthday to BT and PC.
Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
You mean you hadn't seen it before???
Yeah, that was KBD's response, as well, which is why it was the first movie we watched together. I don't know HOW I missed it, really. I've gotten much more in touch with my inner goth in the past decade.
Okay, off the to dr.
Happy Bday PC and BT! and belated to TB!
Speaking of birthdays... From the [link] best of craigslist:
Seeking Adult Drunk Clown for 30th Birthday party
Date: 2008-08-26, 3:22PM CDT
We need an Adult Drunk Clown who is good at getting drunk and stupid. No need to do any clown tricks, just hang out and drink a shit load. We will be hopping around to different bars and want a clown to tag a long and drink heavely. He doesn't even need to socialize with anyone, just drink.
the birthday is on Friday, Sept. 5th in Bucktown. Oh, did I mention that the clown needs to get shitfaced. Don't worry, we will purchase all the drinks.
Plei, did you notice that PBS is using "Democracy" on their promos about election coverage?
From the wars against disorder,
from the sirens night and day,
from the fires of the homeless,
from the ashes of the gay:
Democracy is coming to the USA.
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
It's a month of Birthday Magnificence.
I think so too! cough:: Monday:: cough
Oh, did I mention that the clown needs to get shitfaced. Don't worry, we will purchase all the drinks.
Ah, the path that could have been for me...

continued ~ma to those who struggle

I've always particularly liked the "It's there they've got the range/And the machinery for change/And it's there they've got the spiritual thirst" as a for-once kinda complimentary description of America. Though maybe it's all sarcastic and I don't get it, which (the latter, at least) is frequently the issue for me with Cohen.
