I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Spike ,'Same Time, Same Place'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy Birthday, Polter-Cow!

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I've always particularly liked the "It's there they've got the range/And the machinery for change/And it's there they've got the spiritual thirst" as a for-once kinda complimentary description of America. Though maybe it's all sarcastic and I don't get it, which (the latter, at least) is frequently the issue for me with Cohen.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday to the Cow!!

Today is a good day. Got all my grading done, got athletic eligibilities done, got substitute packet put together. I get 2 extra plan periods on Fridays because my 6th graders are all at band. Whee!!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

(for the rest of you, that's Cow for Happy Birthday)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You've got to be careful on those O's, though. You might accidentally end up saying Fuck You.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, did you notice that PBS is using "Democracy" on their promos about election coverage?

Dude. That's awesome. I hadn't, because I don't actually watch TV.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

t work venting Is it too much to ask for that if you put a paragraph of notes from last nights show, that you should expect we act on them. Due to the nature of giving you updates, there is not enough time to give you an update on every bloody process. And due to the nature of your not wanting to be a team player, but instead be an OCD control freak that says no to all requests, I did step outside of the box and make phone calls to my crew and to the band. I understand there are other ramifications, but I do not need a 10 minute phone lecture from you, when you don't realize the ramifications of what you write. BACK OFF! t /work venting

Sorry about that. Just a bit tired, and the SM is pissing everyone off. And when someone is pissing me off, you know it's bad. I try to be the optimist and see the rosey side of things. This SM is officially on my nerves now too.
