Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{ND}} just a little extra strength to you .

So- for various reasons I've been looking at craigs list --and I got into the writing jobs. Tech writing is what it has been, but the whole world of magazine publishing is different. Some pay almost nothing --2 dollars for a blog post( 100 words) -- 3 for a feature post ( 300 words).

and then-- there are people looking for bloggers-- to maintain a blog-- I'm guessing still not a bunch of money, but it is interesting.

“Not dead yet!”

Hell, Drew-- I'm sorry. But at least it sounds as if it was caught early enough to do something about it.

In a Mooshu update, I poured out a small amount of DogSure to which he turned up his nose. I know it had to be good, since Pisces and Jasmine were practically climbing over each other to get to it. But I'm not that easy-- I shooed them off, grabbed a syringe (wish I'd had a bigger one) and proceeded to give Mooshu some in 100ml increments. He fussed at the first syringe, but then took the rest of them without my even having to hold his head steady. And while he never willingly drank any from the bowl, about halfway through the syringe feeding, his tail started wagging and his eyes definitely seemed brighter.

I'm still worried, but at least I know he's got something in his system. Contrary beast. You'd think he was a cat.

Thrive to spite them

I keep driving by my old place and seeing that it's for rent and I finally saw the listing for it -- they want 800/mth!

They are also claiming new carpet (which I believe) and new paint (which looks exactly like what we did 2 years ago). $800 a month for a place with on counter space, out dated plugs. Seriously.

Here's the listing -- [link]

Jeebus, ND. Wishing much healing-ma for your mom.

Glad Mooshu took some food, Barb. Pets who won't eat is unsettling, to say the least.

Paging omins - my sister is on business in Dallas this week, and if she has the time, I know she'd enjoy the show. Do you mind posting/e-mailing me the name of your theater and where she calls to buy tickets? Or a link to a website, of course. My profile address is good. Please and thank you.

ION, I am wearing a ridiculous pair of leopard print pajamas, but it doesn't matter, because they are SO SOFT.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Between the two of them? I'd vote for Michael in a heartbeat.

I have come home tonight to discover that our cable and our phone has been shut off.
