I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Laga, that sucks.

100% on the Shakespeare, 83% on the hairstyles, but I want to argue strenuously with the quizmaster about my two wrong answers; (a) I'm pretty sure that the pixie cut person actually has longer-than-pixie hair, elegantly swept back, not a true pixie (she's worn and rocked the pixie cut before, but I don't think that's it), and (b) I'm positive that if you looked at the back of Elvis's head in that picture you'd see a duck's ass.

I am possibly overinvested in doing well on tests.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

  • 67% hairdos
  • 67% Shakespeare
  • 80% 007
  • 80% Ben & Jerry's
  • 90% Scooby Doo

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The Simpsons' Softball Quiz is easy (except for the first question), as long as you can remember the "Talking Softball" song that ran over the closing credits. (Yes, I missed the first one, damn it.)

“Not dead yet!”

I got 90% on the 007 quiz. And JZ, I thought the same about Elvis and the duck's ass, but for some strange reason, I remember Tintin's hairstyle being called a quiff and I went with that guess.

Why, I know not, other than lack of sleep.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Dear brain,
Please start working again. I need you more than ever.
Love,

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ohio librarians eat patron livers all year round.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Kristin, I think your brain and mine are enjoying margaritas on a beach somewhere. Wish I could join them.

I should use the library, but I really like owning books. If I get them from the library, they eventually want them back.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Two men went on a spree defacing signs in public parks and streets by correcting the grammar. They were caught, fined, and are ordered to stay away from National Parks and signs for a year. [link]

Lesson: Grammar mistakes are for snarking, not marking.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

This sounds like they could make a new versoin of Alice's Restaurant about it.

Also, I think a finger wave and a marcel wave are close enough to each other that they shouldn't be in the same multiple choice answer. Or maybe I have misunderstood what one of them is.

I also agree with JZ in re the pixie cut actually being an updo.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Our great cause has its martyrs! Do martyrs get feast days or is that just saints?
