Also, I think a finger wave and a marcel wave are close enough to each other that they shouldn't be in the same multiple choice answer. Or maybe I have misunderstood what one of them is.

Martyrs are a class of saint, and even if you haven't gotten all the merit badges for sainthood you can be classified as Venerable or Blessed and get a feast day.
