We saw maybe 5 points in the Federer match. The sun was killer and mac was "scared" up so high.
I think I will try to get seats two sections over, but just as high for next year. They actually are in the shade almost 100% of the day.
We saw 3 full sets of the Muller/Almagro match -
set 1 and 3 went to tie breaker with Almagro leading 2 sets to 1 and after we left, the 4th set also went to tie breaker (Muller won) and the 5th I can't tell from the official score if Almagro conceeded or if Muller actually won on points. The crowd was behind Almagro, but mac was rooting for Muller, so I am glad he won.
I'm with Typo and Scrappy on the Palin issue: how disgusting is it that people are spreading that kind of rumor, just to make political hay? It's revolting and I hope the Obama campaign comes out and says so.
Whatever her choices with regards to her pregnancy and her body, they are HER CHOICES and second-guessing her would be hypocritical in the extreme.
Frank -- I can believe that of a 5th pregnancy, though.
Oh believe me, I know that (says 8th of eight). It's just I saw this stuff before it hit the Kos, and if the MSM starts talking about it, it doesn't matter where it originated - it's going to be blamed on Obama's campaign.
Hence my statement that it could get ugly.
Yeah, whatever happens with that - proven or disproven - I hope it happens fast.
Whatever her choices with regards to her pregnancy and her body, they are HER CHOICES and second-guessing her would be hypocritical in the extreme.
Which Obama should say loudly and repeatedly. And then give a little glare.
I just got off the phone with my sister, who is currently on her long-delayed honeymoon (they married last October) in Hawaii. They're staying on the west coast of Maui in what sounds like a really nice condo within sight of the ocean. When they got there a few days ago, there was an open house going on just down the street, so they got curious and decided to go. While chatting with the real estate agent about where they were from, etc., the agent said that he was a transplant, born in Joliet, IL. Well, that's where Sis and I are from! Turns out, he's a year older than my brother and had dated a girl who was my stepmother's cousin.
Small world.
really small world.
going to open houses while on vacation is such a great idea. well, if you like them I guess. I just love seeing inside houses. I really need to just go on more here in the city, you know in all my free time.
I don't give a damn if she's the Virgin Mary(Although watching her turn up on a taco chip at the convention when she's supposed to be somewhere else would be amusing.)
She's too extreme and seems not to know her ass from her armpit.
It would be pretty weird for a 16yo to have a Down's baby, but I suppose it could happen.
But let's be the one group of people not fixated on this woman's womb...it's hard enough to accept the righties using it as her qualification, imo.
