this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You realize you probably can, right? Depending on what the ballot restrictions are where you live, anyway.

Yeah, but it's essentially tossing my vote in the garbage. And I definitely don't want McCain.

The PUMAs would have you believe that President McCain is worth it in order to Send A Message to the Democratic party.

I'm not sure what that message is, though, other than, We're pissed that our candidate didn't win.

I'm kind of relieved that my candidate (Edwards) didn't win, in retrospect. Can someone turn "Thank God we didn't have an infidelity-based impeachment trial before we even had the freaking election," into a catchy acronym?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yes, but those people are CRAZY.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I see "PUMA" and I think "they hit on younger delegates?"

I think the idea is that Hillary can defeat McCain in 2012. I don't understand it though, it's not a freaking game. The supreme court can change, our energy policy could be more drilling and nuclear plants for four more years, our foreign policy can be hawkish to a fault for four more year, etc...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What's PUMA?

Ahh, the Nadar strategy. That worked out so well the last time.

And, yes, I realize that Gore dug most of his own grave in 2000, but that's probably not how the press is going to paint it should we end up with PotUS McCain.

Party Unity My Ass, I believe. For some of the people who think H. Clinton should have gotten the nomination.

Our wings are not tired.

Obama wasn't my first choice, but I absolutely will vote for him in November. I can't waste my vote, and no way McCain is a closer match for me.

I long ago gave up hoping that a candidate would agree with me on every position. I'm somewhat encouraged that Obama seems to encourage diversity of opinion and challenges to his views within his organization. The next president has a large number of serious problems to confront. The degree of success will in large part depend on the quality of the brains surrounding the president.

IOvotingN, I voted today in our primary election and we used our brand new shiny character recognition ballots, that replaced the electronic voting machines, that replaced the hanging chad punch cards. Wish us luck.
