Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

What's PUMA?

Party Unity My Ass, I believe. For some of the people who think H. Clinton should have gotten the nomination.

Our wings are not tired.

Obama wasn't my first choice, but I absolutely will vote for him in November. I can't waste my vote, and no way McCain is a closer match for me.

I long ago gave up hoping that a candidate would agree with me on every position. I'm somewhat encouraged that Obama seems to encourage diversity of opinion and challenges to his views within his organization. The next president has a large number of serious problems to confront. The degree of success will in large part depend on the quality of the brains surrounding the president.

IOvotingN, I voted today in our primary election and we used our brand new shiny character recognition ballots, that replaced the electronic voting machines, that replaced the hanging chad punch cards. Wish us luck.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I usually vote my heart at primaries and lesser evil at main elections.

I may be mistaken, but in places where I believe Obama is WRONG,I also think those are not front and center issues for him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

PUMA = Party Unity My Ass.

OK, that makes me laugh. The concept makes me angry, but the acronym makes me laugh. But seriously, how the fuck do they think Republicans are successful? Marching in lockstep!

ION, I am now consciously ignoring my terrible coworker's terrible children, who are apparently playing hide and seek throughout our office.

"Will no one think of the children!?! And gag them!"

It's AN OFFICE. They should be, if not quiet, at least contained!

I just told my minion that in the future she should feel free to tell the children that they are not allowed to hide under her desk. Seriously, people!!

Coding and Sleeping

I realize that Gore dug most of his own grave in 2000, but that's probably not how the press is going to paint it should we end up with PotUS McCain.

I always felt bad for Gore that he got tagged with the "I invented the Internet" thing when he never said it.
