Obama wasn't my first choice, but I absolutely will vote for him in November. I can't waste my vote, and no way McCain is a closer match for me.
I long ago gave up hoping that a candidate would agree with me on every position. I'm somewhat encouraged that Obama seems to encourage diversity of opinion and challenges to his views within his organization. The next president has a large number of serious problems to confront. The degree of success will in large part depend on the quality of the brains surrounding the president.
IOvotingN, I voted today in our primary election and we used our brand new shiny character recognition ballots, that replaced the electronic voting machines, that replaced the hanging chad punch cards. Wish us luck.

I usually vote my heart at primaries and lesser evil at main elections.
I may be mistaken,but in places where I believe Obama is WRONG,I also think those are not front and center issues for him.
