Jayne: Here's a little concept I been workin' on. Why don't we shoot her first? Wash: It is her turn.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Pete -it's amazing how many Seattle nurseries have websites and yet - don't list the plants that they carry. I guess stock can change so quickly. But I would suspect that houseplant season is year round. Sky Nursery which is in Shoreline (don't know where that is) has a nice list of good air cleaning houseplants:

Yes, we seem to have a lot of companies that were excited to get on TEH INTERNETZ and then did sod all with their site. ETA: Of course, I could include myself in that description. ahem.

Anyway, I figured asking Plei is the smart option because she's usually just so damn clued in about these things.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Juliebird, I hope she comes home.

Pete, Sky (across from a certain Fred Meyer that I'm sure you're familiar with) should have it. I don't really do house plants, but their selection is good.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Is Yahoo!Mail making anyone else login every five seconds, or am I just special?
It has been making me do it and has been driving me crazy all day.

So glad to know it wasn't just me.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

{{{Juliebird}}} I hope you find her very soon.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Juliebird, when my family found a dog recently we put pictures of him up on Craigs List and several local sites for lost/found pets.

(Happy Ending: His people found him!)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh dear, Juliebird. Here's hoping she's just gone walkabout and will walk her way home soon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hope everything turns out okay, Juliebird.

God, my head hurts. And the ER was little help.

Okay, wimminz: How many handbags do you have? How many times do they get used during a given year? Month?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have 5, ita. The current one tends to get used day in, day out. The others are ones I retired but am still fond of. Every so often I switch bags. There's one smaller one that gets used for nights out.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Vibing safe-return~ma to Juliebird's cat. My downstairs neighbor's cat has gone missing, and it just twists my heart every time I come or go and see the signs posted all over the block. No more unscheduled walkabouts, kitties, please! It's too hard on the humans.

ita, (a) oh, damn, sorry the ER didn't help, and (b) probably 10 fancy evening handbags and 4 actual purse-type purses. The purses get used every day until they come apart; the fancy bags get used a couple times a year each.
