Vibing safe-return~ma to Juliebird's cat. My downstairs neighbor's cat has gone missing, and it just twists my heart every time I come or go and see the signs posted all over the block. No more unscheduled walkabouts, kitties, please! It's too hard on the humans.
ita, (a) oh, damn, sorry the ER didn't help, and (b) probably 10 fancy evening handbags and 4 actual purse-type purses. The purses get used every day until they come apart; the fancy bags get used a couple times a year each.
Okay, wimminz: How many handbags do you have? How many times do they get used during a given year? Month?
Ummmm.... I have about 20-ish. I haven't counted them, but that's probably right. I have a handful (4 or 5) that I have on rotation for daily use. Then I have others that are just for going out that get used less often, say 4-10 times per year depending on the bag. Then others are bigger, more tote-like, that are on rotation for work use.
eyes new bag in corner.
I have a thing.
I have two. One gets used every single day, and one gets used 3 or so times a year, if that. My "one" needs to be repaired, and I can't work out why I'm so reticent about getting a new one and having two when all is said and done. And I really should have something in brown. Or something that actually looks nice.
I have a winter handbag (immense black leather tote) and a summer handbag (canvas tote with polka dots). I don't have nights out.
I use one purse at a time, but I probably have 10 or 15 in the house, between old day-to-day ones and fancy or -- my favorite! -- novelty purses I don't actually ever use.
3 things that could reasonably be considered purses. I tend to use 1 of them nearly all the time. The other 2, rather rarely since the other came to me.
I, however, do not like purses, and am not altogether pleased that I seem to be carrying one now.
I have about 10, but only 2 or 3 of them get frequent use.
I have, um, maybe 10-15 handbags? I will carry one particular bag for months at a time, then decide it is time to switch bags and spend an evening going through the whole changing-over-handbag ritual. Moving everything from one bag to the other, doing some minor hedge-witchery with good luck charms, that sort of stuff.
Travel question: I can put my laptop in the suitcase I'm carrying on, right? (I know I'll have to take it out for the scanner....)
Okay, stain is off my counter. Yay! I am much less insane now. Also, the two-hour nap probably helped.
Now I should do laundry and pack.
