See how I'm not punching him? I think I've grown.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Very down for me as well, still.

Because books.

Still totally down for me.

Coding and Sleeping

Apparently I'm special. I've always suspected.

Well, you do have those machines you build in that back yard, right? What's a time machine compared to a make-google-work machine?

My commute has turned into an obstacle course due to resurfacing. And I think there's a really BIG problem at work. Blearg.

I used to get asked by other kids what language I spoke at home when I visited the Midwest. It is a lot better than it used to be (though I still often have to repeat the New in New Mexico for clarity) but NM Magazine still runs the "One of Our 50 is Missing" column for a reason: [link]

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Reminds people of the Atlanta Olympics when people from New Mexico couldn't order tickets - over the phone? in some manner - because they couldn't take orders that way from outside the U.S.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sometimes I really want to tell the people of the US to go to the stupid hell they so richly deserve, but then I remember that I live here. ::SIGH::

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"I hate to correct you on your own show, Casey, but there are actually 52 states including Alaska and Rhode Island."

There's a story about an Israeli soccer player who once said that on the next season he wanted to play either in Spain or in Europe.

Yeah, it's not what we're talking about, but still.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Speaking only for myself, it's nice to know there are dumbasses everywhere. The US doesn't have the market on it!
