OMG! They just showed Bush checking his watch and bouncing his knee! They look so damned bored!

Some NBC producer is laughing his butt off--or fired.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

connie, Laura's giving really good teacher "I'm interested, really" face. I'm sure it's gotten a workout as First Lady

How much do I love that bagpipes tend to show up at the most bizarre times during the parade.

Anyone else get the impression that Austria dipped into the lager during their long wait? They're rather... happy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap, there's another hour?? And the flame thing won't be until the end, huh?

For one, yeah. But I've heard them during some of the middle eastern countries, African countries, etc. They keep cycling through the same national musical styles over and over irrespective of what country is actually on the march. I mean, it's no more odd to hear mariachi music when Switzerland shows up, but the bagpipes just crack me up.
