Wesley: All right. I'm going to let you all in on something you may have trouble comprehending. I assure you however-- Gunn: Vampires are real. Wesley: I was telling!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

How much do I love that bagpipes tend to show up at the most bizarre times during the parade.

“Not dead yet!”

You mean like during North Korea?

“Not dead yet!”

Anyone else get the impression that Austria dipped into the lager during their long wait? They're rather... happy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap, there's another hour?? And the flame thing won't be until the end, huh?

For one, yeah. But I've heard them during some of the middle eastern countries, African countries, etc. They keep cycling through the same national musical styles over and over irrespective of what country is actually on the march. I mean, it's no more odd to hear mariachi music when Switzerland shows up, but the bagpipes just crack me up.

brillig

OK, Guam has a judo guy who's over 300 pounds. I want someone to tell him he's out of shape.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sada's first bout: tighter than I'd like to see, not looking completely like she had her focus on. Also, the refereeing was... dubious. And judging by her look of "oh my god you little crack-smoking man!" when she took her mask off, I gather she felt the same way. 15-11

My brother is a boob. Just thought I'd share that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is a very schizoid watch and post. I should probably at least take the laptop into the room with the TV. It just feels so new money, though, you know?

Anyway, I'm kind of creeped out by the giant footsteps since they were there for who to see properly? God? Aliens? The shuttle mission? Kinda weird.

Cool, though!

Hey, I got my first opp to lie on my fawncy new futon and post sans wires! It's... warming and fighting with cats for space.

Uh, I must have missed that. And as a sign of my head, when you said shuttle mission, I went to the Columbia blow up.

I swear, I've been so fucking paranoid at every launch since. October 8. Please let our folks be ok.
