Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Eddie the Gangsta Barrista who never says anything to me spun my coffee down the counter, whispered "extra shot for you today" pounded his chest twice and flashed me a peace sign.

Oh, my. I love Eddie the Gangsta Barista.

Sparky, I despise regular Gatorade, but I can choke down the Gatorade water-type stuff (aka Propel). In the midst of marathon training, I could force myself to drink the Gatorade Endurance - less sweet, more salty.

Oh, and Hil, if you really think you scratched your cornea, don't wear your contacts! Which I'm sure you aren't. But. Unless it's really bad, they'll just tell you to wear your glasses for a few days--it'll heal in a couple three days. If it's a bad scratch, there's drops or ointment, and they might have you tape your eye closed for a couple days.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh.

11: The number of Heath Bars you would have to eat to equal the number of calories found in one Baskin Robbins Large Heath Bar Shake.
8-12: The average number of minutes it takes to consume this drink.
240: The number of minutes you’d need to spend on a treadmill burning it off, running at a moderate pace.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yeah, I'm wearing glasses for now. It's not hurting so bad today. I wish I had prescription sunglasses, though -- I don't feel like going out in this sun without sunglasses.

ION, I suppose asking my boss if she is really that lacking in reading comprehension skills would be a bad career move, huh? Sheesh.

Worst Summer Cocktail - Pina Colada

I cry foul as I was just reading that a real Pina Colada isn't a creamy frozen drink, but much closer to a margarita, except with rum in the place of tequila.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Admittedly I prefer to cut my VitaminWater with more water by a half, but when their serving size is 12oz and sugar is 19g, how is that comparable to a 8oz of coke with 27g of total carbs?

a bottle of this stuff carries nearly as much sugar and calories as a can of Coke

Puh-lease. Different size bottles, all bigger than the average can of Coke.

Compassionately intolerant

Sparky, when I was training for the AIDSRide, I swore by Balance Energy Drink . It didn't make my blood sugar go all wonky, and tasted pretty good.

Gatorade gives me a stomach ache in a big way.

Coconut water is not at all gross. And actually less flavorful than you'd imagine...but it does have good nutrients in it.

I cannot bear coconut water. My stomach gets heave-y just reading about it.
