"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Ummm. It seems like I lost a week, and the free music festival was actually last Sunday.

Euro it is.

Somebody seen my concentration anywhere? Tell it I want it back.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Pico is lucky to have you, Sue. Sounds like a nice Pico-filled weekend.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

extra loving pets in Pico's direction.

Had a brief scary moment -- turned on the TV and TIVO wasn't getting a signal from the cable box. Happily, it was a momentary glitch. There was a dangerous possibility that my lazy Sunday was going to be disturbed by worry and concern.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

This is why I love Buffistas so much. Their concerns and worries are my concerns and worries.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am sooooo sleepy. I just made myself a huge iced latte to try and give myself a pick me up.

Naps sounds better. But lattes are tastier.

Watching one of those sell my house shows. and I jus realized I was not a typical buyer.I actually wanted the less neutral house with the out of date interior, partly because it was easier for me to see the potential. My eyes glaze over when things are too neutral.

yes, when I was was house shopping a few years ago, I had that problem. there was one place that had a brand new kitchen, with new, neutral appliances, and I hated it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah, but the thing I learned watching those shows is that the selling price goes up by more than the renovation costs when they re-do kitchens, so it's good not to get distracted by new appliances!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I know too many instances where the sellers did all kinds of expensive construction projects to modernize the house, only to have the buyer tear out everything!
