You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Thank you, sara. Please kill it dead. Tom, you are just being cruel, but good for you.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

There's nothing on TV, so I've got Deal or No Deal on. I want to go on the show, just to see if I can get Howie to explain the St. Elsewhere finale to me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish I were on vacation. Although, I was wishing I had planned a long weekend for when I go up for my grandmother's birthday next month, totally forgetting it was the one weekend I might have had to work. Oops.

The good news is, tomorrow is Clean-Up Day at work, which means: Dungarees! I have actual work to do in addition to cleaning, but I will be doing it in a dressed-down manner.

Uh, someone have a gun I can borrow?

I may be on vacation part of next week. The build's been postponed. Except if coworker gets jury duty, then I'm fucked. In other fun jury duty news, if one of our other people doesn't get her JD deferred, we're all fucked. Seriously. It's bad enough we've got a food chain lineup prepped to write letters. They are talking about calling congresscritters if the bosses's letters don't work. (They aren't asking for her to get off the hook. Just not to be on it until the new year.)

I HATE MY DIALUP.

Whee. I just got my bitch on. Found the email for the regional maintenance manager for the management company. Sent a very diplomatic but firm complaint, complete with timeline.

We'll see.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

It's probably deeply sad that I'm enjoying a new-to-us Backyardigans episode almost as much Annabel is, huh?

I mean, it's a total rip-off of Night at the Museum. But it has flamenco music! And Pablo is a statue of Napoleon!

Yeah, Sara, I'm just as glad you don't have a gun this week, you know what I'm saying?

Ah, c'mon, I was raised nonviolent. 17 years of that is hard to overcome.

though not THAT hard...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My theory is that if you manage to be a pacifist 99.99% of the time, you're doing well. So what if during the other .01% of the time you're shooting people? We should just round that down to 0%.
