My nephew told me he needs a white suit. My first thought was, "Steve Martin???"
But no. He needs a spacesuit, so he can go to Mars.
Fortunately, JPL sells flight suits for kids, and lori is checking to see if they have any on stock. He said he also needs a suit for my niece, because "Neavie wants to go, too."
I can't verify since Neavie doesn't talk, yet.
I asked if he has a spaceship. He says that if he has a suit, the spaceship will come pick him out. Sounds like sound logic to me.
Unfortunately, he believes that once he is wearing the spacesuit, he will float, like he's in zero g.
Maybe we can just tell him the suit is broken until his meaty little brain can wrap around the concept of gravity.

Stock up peoples. stock up. Even though my office has free coffee, I have been making a travel cup of iced for the morning commute. Of course this means I am having a second cup at work around, well, now and that is doubling my coffee drinking, but I think it is better than lunchtime caffeine.

You know, I got the nicest note from my SIL after I sent the membership the children's museum that I'm a fabulous auntie and that her children are lucky to have me. I got all allergy-eyed. It was such a nice thing to hear.
