Random feet washing up on the Canadian coast.
I've been following this story with interest. All the other feet have been right feet, but this one is a left one! They didn't say if this one was wearing a sneaker, like the others.

Steph got it.
My favorite part? Being told that James the contractor was given the ticket Friday.
Friday night I had the opportunity to look through his sheaf of tickets when I found him in the parking lot.
There was not one for my unit.
Now, he could have lost it. Or they could have lost it. Or they could have forgotten to print it out. But in any case, it's just what I've come to expect.
Happy Birthday, Cass!
Ugh sarameg, how infuriating.
May I say thank goodness for coffee? I know that Victor has warned me to prepare for coffee shortages, but right now I am hugging my coffee lovingly and enjoying it while it's here.
I was rereading a book and there's a scene where someone goes to make coffee while the person whose house it is takes a shower. She comes down to the kitchen and finds him horrified as he says "You drink freeze dried".
I know that Victor has warned me to prepare for coffee shortages
There are supposed to be coffee shortages?
oh noes!
There are supposed to be coffee shortages?
So which would concern you more - coffee shortages (which I hadn't heard about) or hop/malt shortages (which I HAVE heard about)?
Coffee shortages.
Coffee shortages?????
!!!!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
My nephew told me he needs a white suit. My first thought was, "Steve Martin???"
But no. He needs a spacesuit, so he can go to Mars.
Fortunately, JPL sells flight suits for kids, and lori is checking to see if they have any on stock. He said he also needs a suit for my niece, because "Neavie wants to go, too."
I can't verify since Neavie doesn't talk, yet.
I asked if he has a spaceship. He says that if he has a suit, the spaceship will come pick him out. Sounds like sound logic to me.
Unfortunately, he believes that once he is wearing the spacesuit, he will float, like he's in zero g.
Maybe we can just tell him the suit is broken until his meaty little brain can wrap around the concept of gravity.
