Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just caught the teaser for One Tree Hill (uh, I watched more Gossip Girl), and did they do a fast forward, or has the show really been on the air for a million years? 4 years since high school? Really?

Kat, that dress is tiny! I can't believe the same woman wore that and some of the other stuff she's selling--like the stuff that I can fit in. The version of me that could wear that is early 20s, easy. About 20 years ago.

Because books.

They did what you said first, ita. Weird.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, right. I'm not sure how the 32.5 inch bust woman is the same as the one for the corset above.

I should look up Lip Service clothes since I like em on her.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sigh. I am loving the clothes (esp that black and blue corset) although they are having the unintended side effect of making me feel like a shapeless lump of flesh. I'm afraid that even my new, post-baby bosom is just not enough to ever justify a corset.

They're cool, but I'm impressed she has so much after so long, because I was never hugely impressed with their staying power. Which is to say, I don't know where to get them around here, but the one decent shopping nabe in Metro Detroit had 'em in their alterna-goth-punk half block and I found myself hovering a fair bit. That's like one of the few things I miss about Michigan--easy to find the nifty clothes--because there aren't that many choices.

I know! I saw that and at first thought "hey! I could fit it!" then I noticed the 23 in waist. Um yeah. I've NEVER had a 23 in waist.

Corsets are pretty insistent, shape-wise. Shapeless isn't a problem, I'm not thinking.

I said you would be pleased with his manners, and referred them to Gothic Charm School.

Awww, thank you!

Some Lip Service stuff is really well-made and lasts forever. Some of it ... doesn't. Their vinyl stuff usually holds up pretty well, and the same with their cotton-twill items. Their "brocade" is kinda hit-or-miss.

Which is to say, I don't know where to get them around here

ita, if you're willing to shop for Lip Service online, I highly recommend Redemption Klothing. Every time I've wanted a Lip Service item, they've been able to get it for me.

This season, ita. That was the ... gimmick, for lack of a better word?

I don't even know why I know this. I've watched the show, like, three times. CMM kind of fascinates me in that car wreck way, though.
