Although I could be wrong, but I don't think adults came to my eighth grade "graduation." It was still A Thing!

Parents attended 8th grade graduation, I think, but I remember going to my sister's 10 years later and being amazed at all the entire extended families and the extreme level of dressing up - it seemed (to me) pretty clear not that this was the end of the road for school necessarily but it might be the end, as far as graduations go. [And, frankly, MPS graduation rates pretty much bore that out. I suspect it's not gotten better since.]

Even mineral makeup makes me break out, so the only way for me to avoid needing makeup is to never wear it. Otherwise it's just a vicious cycle of needing foundation/powder to cover up blemishes caused by the foundation/powder.

I find this to be mostly true for foundation for me. I don't have a problem with eye makeup or lipstick, but unless it's a special occasion, I skip the foundation entirely. Overall, my skin looks better since I quit it.

I need to wear a little foundation because my skin tone is so uneven now on my cheeks. I just tried the Maybelline Pure Makeup foundation, which is 50% water. It's gorgeously light-feeling, but it also does what it's supposed to do. I really like it.

That said, I wish I could go without. Ideally, I'd throw on some mascara and lipstick and be out the door, but those days are gone.

I love this which might fit me but I have no reason to get a vinyl corset and no occasion to wear it. But it's cute.

I also love this gown which reminds me of Jilli. The down side is that I would never fit in it. Alas.
