oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Steph, that's probably more of what I meant. My diabetes -- well it makes an obvious difference. My asthma doesn't care if I eat a ho-ho. however, if I eat an oranges instead of ho-ho's my immune system get a boost and I might not catch the latest cold.

However, I will not give up ho-ho's.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Okay, I have been checking out the Nutrisystem boards, mostly to get food ideas for the diet (14 lbs gone so far!) and they have an off-topic area. CRAZY PEOPLE. There is whole thread about how the media has suppressed the news that Obama smokes cigarettes, since Liberals hate smoking and that would have hurt him. WTF?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, do you remember what it was about cabbage that made it a bad choice for those who were hypothyroid?

It's a goitrogen, and can suppress thyroid function. More listed foods are "Brussels sprouts, broccoli, turnips, rutabagas, kohlrabi, radishes, cauliflower, African cassava, millet, and kale."

Umm. The media hasn't suppressed it. It covered his attempts to quit, last I checked. Seemed pretty silly.

Interesting! Being hyperthyroid then I should have eaten up on all of those, yet the only two I like on that list are millet and cauliflower.

Oh man.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha ha! Although, I wouldn't really be surprised if he wasn't on the gum now because liberals do hate smoking. But yeah, it's been in the media.

Oh, my god, there are ten million people in the Loop today. All I wanted to do was buy a book and grab a sandwich, but no! I got a horde! And a book and a sandwich, sadly with no tomatoes.

FYI - The other Phoenix, that thing on Mars, is on TV tonight. There's a small chance that I show up in this one, and not in a bunny suit.

On Wednesday, June 11, at 10:00 p.m. EDT and PDT, Discovery Channel premieres Mars: The Quest for Life, an all-new, one-hour behind-the-scenes look at the Phoenix lander. The documentary follows the man in charge, Peter Smith, as he and his team struggle to defy the odds and get Phoenix safely onto the surface of Mars. Featuring never-before-seen footage of Phoenix's dramatic, emotional landing, the program explores the secrets that Phoenix might finally unlock about life on another world.
