Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Oh ita, I'm so sorry.

In other news, I DIDN'T tell the high school teacher in the PD I'm leading to shove it after she said, "The problem is that the middle school teachers just keep passing them along, whether or not they have any skills." Lady, I fail kids all the time but the district just sends then along, not me.

Sigh.

Also I just plugged in the bug zapper, but it has yet to zap anything. I need to figure out how to hang this in the front, where the bugs lurk in our entry way. If the lightbulb wasn't screwed in so tightly, I might be able to change it and make it so the bugs didn't just hang there.

Inaugural bug has been zapped. I know it's not very buddhist of me, but honestly, I'm TIRED of me and the baby being eaten by skeeters.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think the Buddha wanted you et.

In timestamp news, I am out of the waiting room, into my own room. Off with lights, and let me close the door.

Now tagless for your comfort.

ita, lots of ~ma. Sorry you ended up in the ER.

Kat, I'm firmly in the anti-mosquito camp. I want a bug zapper because our backyard is teeming as well. And I swell--badly.

Thanks for the ~ma, guys. I'm channelling it towards the new doc who's never written for 6mg dilaudid before.

Do mosquitoes do anything useful?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Do mosquitoes do anything useful?

From the mammal's POV? No. But I suppose the West Nile virus finds it rather accommodating.
