still OMG tired. It's possible I did to much today, but it wasn't all that much. After getting self and mac to Manhattan and getting lunch with my brother, I came home and had a 30 min nap, then 2 loads of laundry and went to grocery and then to pick up mac. We did homework and I did my multi-tasking cooking thing: cooked spaghetti squash, foreman grilled 3 chicken thighs, made up banana bread muffins. There is fish thawing to cook later and some spinach and mushrooms to cook up (for the spaghetti squash).

I had to google this. I could hear it in my head, but not more than that.
Lori, you should be able to see it still.
Burnt plastic is not my fave. You can smell it all the way up in Sun Valley.
What's NY Style Pizza? Is it another way of saying thin crust? Chicago is deep dish, right? Sadly, somehow, I got that linked to headaches a long time ago. I should test to see if that's still true. Because the few moments before they made my temples throb were pretty fun. This one place in Detroit, on Jefferson...
NY Style has always been thin crust. There's a yummy place in Westwood (Lamonica's) that does NY Style.
If you're not in NYC, then NY style pizza is thin crust.
If you're in NYC, then NY style pizza is a specific kind of very-thin-crust pizza, cooked at high temperature in a coal oven until it's kind of cripsy.
Tom knows much better than I!
We went to the aquarium today, which was fun. Not as much fun as watching Noah try to avoid putting his feet in the cold sand. Such fun.
Also, I had a dutch baby today. WOO HOO! I'm sure I've gained several dozen pounds.
Chicago is deep dish, right?
deep dish is tourist pizza. True Chicago pizza is thin crust, cut in squares, with enough sauce that the cheese kind of floats on top.
Interest pizza breakdowns.
I ended up ordering Thai instead, but next pang I'll try the NY style from a nearby pizzeria. My memory of NY style in NY is much floppier than the thin crust I've had outside.
I'm really sad I ordered the Thai!
The corner slice place type of pizza is different than the brick oven thin crust type.
