Tom knows much better than I!

We went to the aquarium today, which was fun. Not as much fun as watching Noah try to avoid putting his feet in the cold sand. Such fun.

Also, I had a dutch baby today. WOO HOO! I'm sure I've gained several dozen pounds.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Chicago is deep dish, right?

deep dish is tourist pizza. True Chicago pizza is thin crust, cut in squares, with enough sauce that the cheese kind of floats on top.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Interest pizza breakdowns.

I ended up ordering Thai instead, but next pang I'll try the NY style from a nearby pizzeria. My memory of NY style in NY is much floppier than the thin crust I've had outside.

I'm really sad I ordered the Thai!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The corner slice place type of pizza is different than the brick oven thin crust type.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

NY style pizza is thin-crust, but not so thin that it gets crunchy. You have to be able to fold the slices in half so you can eat it walking down the street.

I had pan-fried trout for dinner and now I have a tiny bone lodged in the back of my throat that I can't shake loose. Any advice? It's not painful, just very very annoying. And being semi-phobic about fish bones isn't helping any.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Because books.

Try eating a piece of bread, Jessica?

Now I *really* want some New York pizza. Damn. Ben's in the Village. Yum.

I ate a big plate of barley salad and it didn't help. The bone is kind of off to the side, right near my tonsil.

not your mom's socks.

I vaguely recall being annoyed at a ditzy chick. I loved that they brought in actual sheep.

See - at the time, I worked with someone similar. Had I not been reading Bellwether on a plane, it would have been chucked out a window. And I would never have been amused/charmed by the sheep.

Don't think I don't see you going to all these cool places Kat. You too, the rest of you...

I have beachbabypixspam (here but locked to friends - [link] how do I post a guestpass? If I don't change it tonight, I'll change the link tomorrow. Or I can friend - too tired to type much less think.) & victorian house picspam (like this one, which is very pink & white. There was a pink and black one but DH was driving and wouldn't stop because I'd taken photos of too many already : [link] too - how do I post a guestpass? If I don't change it tonight, I'll change the link tomorrow. Or I can friend - too tired to type much less think.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You probably don't want to hear about when that happened to my sister when we were kids and traveling in Wales, do you? There was a toothbrush involved.
