Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would get the Andouille & Sweet Potato Biscuits, shrift

Me too. Unless I got overwhelmed and got the old standby (two eggs over medium, bacon crispy, potatoes).

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hmm.

Am pondering whether it would be possible to make a low carb variation on the bacon fudge theme.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm sure it would be -- there are no-wheat fudge mixes out there already! -- but then the question arises as to WHY WOULD YOU?

I can barely imagine the attraction of bacon salt, but bacon fudge is totally beyond my ken.

Art Crawl!!!

I think Daybreak is a difficult show to watch out of order - because everything he does is built on something he did previously.

Prison Break - still on. Not sure where they're going with it and I heard a bizarro rumor for next season. Casting stuff tied to something that happened last season.

Would love to try bacon fudge - do you suppose that was what Ilan really meant to do when he did those chicken liver truffles?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Snerk. Just got a call from some group looking for donations. The pitch started with, "We have children in Israel who are straying off the path of Yiddishkeit!" (My mom answered it and didn't let them get any further than that. I kinda wanted to know what their solution was.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

OMgoodness, now I want to eat at that restaurant, it looks amazing. I's get either the eggs alexander or the fried green tomato BLT. Probably the latter.

egad, now I need to go look in the kitchen and see how close I can get to a proper brunch-like breakfast. Plus coffee, I must make coffee.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

DUB Pies have been achieved, and we have now decided that since it is SO beautiful out, we're going to head out to Coney Island after D's nap. We'll have to be back by 3 to get our groceries delivered, but we should be able to get a good 2 hours of sun and sand if we hit the trains right.

Oooh, Coney Island sounds nice.

I'm heading back to DC today. My train leaves in about two hours, which means I ought to be leaving the house in about one hour. I've still got a bunch of stuff to do first. Need breakfast first, though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

No bacon in my fudge, please. (I just don't like the taste of bacon)

I got some mosquito bites yesterday! Probably when I was sleeping with my legs bare.

Earliest I can remember getting bit....
