That place needs a shrimp omelette, but they don't look like they do omelettes with fillings.
Me, I'd go for the oatmeal, if it's steel cut. Otherwise the French toast, though I'm not sure why anyone would blend cane syrup with maple syrup.

I would get the Andouille & Sweet Potato Biscuits, shrift
Cheese grits! YUM!
You know what my problem is? I'm way too ambitious in the morning, and then my day is a series of lowered expectations until bedtime strikes. Like, this morning I'm contemplating buying a new bicycle, and reading online stuff has made me all ambitious to buy a recumbent bike (long body).
Thank goodness, the bike store doesn't open until noon.
Whiskey fudge is delicious.
God, that sounds amazing.
Looking at that recipe I think I could find a way to tweak it and make it less sweet (less milk product and maybe replace some of the chocolate with unsweetened).
My recipe review is that the fudge never really set. It's rather gooey, and if I kept it out of the fridge, it might almost liquefy. I didn't use all of the bacon recommended in the recipe, and I wish I had, because in some bites, the bacon is overwhelmed by fudgy sweetness. I would like to try this again with a proper fudge recipe (one that involves heating sugar and milk and the soft-ball stage.)
It is very sweet fudge, so you could totally try it with darker chocolate, or less sugary liquid.

Me too. Unless I got overwhelmed and got the old standby (two eggs over medium, bacon crispy, potatoes).
Hmm.
Am pondering whether it would be possible to make a low carb variation on the bacon fudge theme.
I'm sure it would be -- there are no-wheat fudge mixes out there already! -- but then the question arises as to WHY WOULD YOU?
I can barely imagine the attraction of bacon salt, but bacon fudge is totally beyond my ken.
I think Daybreak is a difficult show to watch out of order - because everything he does is built on something he did previously.
Prison Break - still on. Not sure where they're going with it and I heard a bizarro rumor for next season. Casting stuff tied to something that happened last season.
Would love to try bacon fudge - do you suppose that was what Ilan really meant to do when he did those chicken liver truffles?
Snerk. Just got a call from some group looking for donations. The pitch started with, "We have children in Israel who are straying off the path of Yiddishkeit!" (My mom answered it and didn't let them get any further than that. I kinda wanted to know what their solution was.)
