I think bacon fudge might even get me to try fudge again but I usually find it too sweet to eat.
That's exactly. I mean, there's the wonder of bacon anyway, but the salt and savory to counteract the sweet could do great things.

And yet no one is upset I'm at work on a saturday.
I could be upset for you but then I'd have to be upset for myself and I just don't have the energy for that.
I dranked too much beer. I'm not really even tipsy, I just feel gross.

Somebody tell me what to order. I want to order it ALL.
That place needs a shrimp omelette, but they don't look like they do omelettes with fillings.
Me, I'd go for the oatmeal, if it's steel cut. Otherwise the French toast, though I'm not sure why anyone would blend cane syrup with maple syrup.

Cheese grits! YUM!
You know what my problem is? I'm way too ambitious in the morning, and then my day is a series of lowered expectations until bedtime strikes. Like, this morning I'm contemplating buying a new bicycle, and reading online stuff has made me all ambitious to buy a recumbent bike (long body).
Thank goodness, the bike store doesn't open until noon.
Whiskey fudge is delicious.
God, that sounds amazing.
Looking at that recipe I think I could find a way to tweak it and make it less sweet (less milk product and maybe replace some of the chocolate with unsweetened).
My recipe review is that the fudge never really set. It's rather gooey, and if I kept it out of the fridge, it might almost liquefy. I didn't use all of the bacon recommended in the recipe, and I wish I had, because in some bites, the bacon is overwhelmed by fudgy sweetness. I would like to try this again with a proper fudge recipe (one that involves heating sugar and milk and the soft-ball stage.)
It is very sweet fudge, so you could totally try it with darker chocolate, or less sugary liquid.

Me too. Unless I got overwhelmed and got the old standby (two eggs over medium, bacon crispy, potatoes).
