They called the PSE I work with yesterday and he gave a glowing rec for me, but...they called him today because they have 6 positions open for engineers and wanted to know if he's interested. I'm kinda sitting here with my mouth open going, "what?"

Snoods are cool. For a few summers with the long hair, I wore one constantly. Tons of complements. How are you with crocheting? I have a 1940s craft book around here that has a pattern for a snood.

Aww, that's a shame, Nora, but pretty surprising that he got any feedback at all. Usually place just don't even call you until you're phoning them pathetically a couple weeks later and they're like "yeahhhhh, we're not going to have you back in" and that's all the feedback you get.
