[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy Birthday, Juliana!

Thinking of Aims and MM as Harley and Joker makes me insanely happy.

Yay for the good news, Aims!

I was wearing sneakers non stop for the better part of a year.

They're all I wear. Well, except for the Crocs I use as "indoor shoes" at work. And the super-sugar leather flipflops I blinged out with mother-of-pearl for the F2F, and had to affix arch supports to with double-sided tape, which I have wanted to keep wearing, but can't because 1)not enough arch support even with the insert-thingies; and 2)the MoP bits come off with rough useage.

Happy Birthday, Juliana!!!

Congratulations, Aims!

Because I'm a total dork, who was cogitating over geology (glacial drumlins!) on my drive in to work, I missed my exit for Starbucks. I'm drinking the coffee from the cafeteria. Bleh.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My dear juliana. May this day, this year, bring you peace within yourself, amazing amounts of joy, and the comforts that come from knowing you are well loved. Happy Birthday.

Yay, Aimee, congratulations! And I'm now very much looking forward to Halloween pictures.

Punishingly Intricate

I have a freakishly long hair (when you have to make special arrangements when you use the toilet? your hair is TOO LONG) squick. I get a lot of kinda sadistic, frankly, glee out of those women on ANTM or WNTW who get their too long, unflattering, unhealthy hair cut and they cry. Of course, at least with the WNTW women, they look miles better every time and usually they seem to appreciate it.

I have the Jilli issue of grey all over and not in one striking spot. I'd be willing to grow it out (becauase it is pretty silver and I love silver!) but my hairdresser isn't ready for me to do that. She thinks I'm too young and "rock & roll"! hah! And she really is the one who decides what to do with my hair. So far it's worked out pretty well.

On WNTW, I think they usually go for the short cut because it is the most dramatic change they can make. I think that a good, longer cut would still look good on some of those women, but it wouldn't make for as dramatic of a reveal.

Blerg, Tom got some negative feedback on the interview he had on Monday (he will not be going on in the process) and I feel bad for him. It's good feedback to have, and there are some things that can be applied to future stuff, but rejection sucks, even rejection with perfectly valid reasons. He's been in such a funk about it but seemed better yesterday, and I fear he will funk again.

sorry about the stupid people who didn't realize Tom's genius, but this conjures up images of star shaped sunglasses and platform glitter boots.
