(((Design family))). I'm glad it was as peaceful as you hoped for.
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Drew, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad he got to go home, and that he was surrounded by loved ones. Flight of angels and all that. {{{{Drew&Kristin&family}}}
Connie, I'm glad you were able to get a flight. May the trip not be too harrowing.
Kicks July for being so harsh on Buffistae.
I'm sorry, Drew. No one wants death, but I'm glad he got the death he wanted.
I wish you'd had more time, is all. But I guess we always wish that.
I'm so sorry for your loss, ND, but glad that your dad made it back to home and family and was able to pass peacefully. Your whole family is in my thoughts (and especially your mother in her loss and devastation; all possible comfort to her, and to all of you coping with your own grief and supporting her).
I'm sorry, ND. Much peace~ma to you and your family.
And thank you to everyone for your support. I was able to talk to Dad's oncologist today. While they're still waiting on the subtype lab-work, the doctor is cautiously optimistic that Dad probably has a nodular type that can be treated with a minimally awful form of chemo. If she's right, the 5-year survival rate is over 80%. If she's wrong we'll deal with that next week.
(I'll try not to make things Calli's Cancer Show all the time, now that I've just recently rejoined b.org.)
How are you getting from Pgh to your destination?
My oldest sister will already be in town and will pick me up. She's leaving on Sunday as well, so we'll go up to the airport together.
No, that price was just for me.
Cautious optimism can be a good thing, Calli. Continued ~ma for your dad and your whole family.
No, that price was just for me.
Oh, dang. That sucks, I'm sorry.
Calli, much ~ma to you and your family.
I'm so sorry Drew. But I'm glad you were there and he was home.
