Love isn't brains, children, it's blood, blood screaming inside you to work its will.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Glad you guys landed safely, Kristin.

I'm still awake. No clue why. Haven't slept at all, and not in the least bit tired. I figured I might as well just shower and start breakfast and get ready for the day.

Our wings are not tired.

Safe travels Omnis.

Waves to Pix and ND on this coast. I hope naps happen soon.

I'm usually awake at this hour, but today not so much. A bit more shuteye needs to happen.

Mostly lurking...

I need more shuteye too. The boy made me get up. Meanie. He took away all the covers. Meanie.

“Not dead yet!”

Ethelyn and Lizzette occur several times in the people who graduated in the twenties and thirties. Someone named Janet with the nickname Breezy. Mignon. Rennie. Tatine. Salpi. Marily. Millibeth

I got to about here and thought to myself, "This was a school in the south." Then I read Louisiana. *g*

I love looking through old yearbooks for name inspirations for characters.

Okay, need coffee. And sympathies vw-- I hate when the covers are stolen.

Librarian Warlord

He took away all the covers.

Warning: You will never change this about him.

My DH is a sheet thief, and when accused tells me it's my fault because I somehow throw all the covers over to his side. @@

I need some coffee, too.

Heh. He does it all night. I'm sure I'll get used to it. I went and bought more pillows because he was stealing that too. But, I shouldn't complain. He has to put up with both me and Toto snoring...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

He took away all the covers.

TCG and I sleep with two blankets in the winter so that we don't wake up in the middle of the night fighting over the covers.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ok, this is kind of awesome. The company I work for, we're pitching for some work for a Singapore client, and the head of our section has decreed that I should come with him (normally it'd probably be my supervisor, but he's on leave that week). This is really quite cool, Changi airport is easily my favourite airport, but I've never had the chance to see Singapore itself. So as long as I'm there, I've arranged to take an extra day off after the preso to look around.

And that leads into my problem. Singapore, it turns out, has a zoo, a night safari park, a bird park, an aquarium and an insect house. This could be one busy day.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am wearing my cute newish skirt (bought it a few months ago but haven't really worn it so much) so I can try to conquer my horrible Body Image Demons that smacked me around yesterday and made me their bitch. Sigh.

I am determined to try to fight back! I am also getting a new haircut today.
