'Shindig'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ok, this is kind of awesome. The company I work for, we're pitching for some work for a Singapore client, and the head of our section has decreed that I should come with him (normally it'd probably be my supervisor, but he's on leave that week). This is really quite cool, Changi airport is easily my favourite airport, but I've never had the chance to see Singapore itself. So as long as I'm there, I've arranged to take an extra day off after the preso to look around.
And that leads into my problem. Singapore, it turns out, has a zoo, a night safari park, a bird park, an aquarium and an insect house. This could be one busy day.
I am wearing my cute newish skirt (bought it a few months ago but haven't really worn it so much) so I can try to conquer my horrible Body Image Demons that smacked me around yesterday and made me their bitch. Sigh.
I am determined to try to fight back! I am also getting a new haircut today.
BID's! GET OFFA MY NORA!!
Ooooo! Hair cut! YAY!
So I have to do a 6 minute informational speech next Tuesday. I have been having a hard time deciding what I wanted to do. I decided this morning.
I'm doing it on Nothing.
How philosophers quantify nothing, how mathy-people define nothing, and how German author Michael Ende defined "The Nothing".
What I need to figure out is what my required visual aid is going to be.

Seinfeld?
That was my total thought!!!
Seinfeld was my thought, too.
Morning, y'all. I've feeling kind of dumb this morning, but in a pleasant, fuzzy-headed way. It's actually a nice change from my normal anxiety.
And Thursday is donut day, mmm...
Nora, good luck slaying those BIDs!
Aimee, that sounds like a great idea for a class project.
